Gokinjo Monogatari is a anime television series based on the manga written by Ai Yazawa. It ran from September 10, 1995 to September 1, 1996 for a total of fifty episodes.
Rumi Shishido, the voice of Mikako Kouda, sung the opening "He.Ro.I.Ne" and both the endings, "Don't You Know?! and "NG!."
On September 28, 2005, the anime was released in a box set by Toei Animation. The box set included a special makeup bag, and was sold for exactly ¥53,865, about $687 in the United States.[1]

Home video release[]
The Gokinjo Monogatari anime was originally released onto thirteen VHS tapes sometime during the late 1990s. The anime was later re-released on September 28, 2005 in a nine DVD box set.[1]
Music[]
Three original soundtracks were produced featuring the music of Gokinjo Monogatari. They were all released throughout 1995 and 1996. Gokinjo Monogatari Tsushin: Part 1 and Part 2 were later reprinted in 2005. Two other vocal CDs, Uki Uki Vocal Bazaar! and Afternoon Break, were also published in 1996. In 2005, a two CD set titled, Gokinjo Monogatari Zenkyoku Shu was released to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Gokinjo anime.
